Hidden relationships in startup outcomes, surfaced by the Apriori algorithm
Association rule mining finds co-occurrence patterns: if a startup has traits A and B, how often does outcome C follow? These aren't causal claims: they're statistical regularities in the data.
Each rule has three metrics. Support is how common the pattern is overall. Confidence is how often the outcome holds given the conditions. Lift tells you how much more likely this is than random chance; a lift of 2.0× means twice as likely.
